BEWANDER

ASP.NET MVC/Razor/Ajax

I have been working on a challenging web/database live project that involved building out the functionality of Bewander.com, a social media website centered around traveling. On the project I did the following contributions:

1. Contributed to the Bewander social networking site and solved old backlogs.
2. Utilized TFS as a Scrum Team Member during two sprints.
3. Solved problems to display images from the database using C#, Razor, HTML5, and CSS3.
4. Documented why we use GUID as a primary key for images uploaded by the users (security).
5. Made notifications update asynchronously with the correct actual numbers using C#.
6. Fixed a bug where after liking a picture, the like count was not refreshing using C# and Ajax.
7. Implemented buttons to start chat with users and view their profile using Razor, HTML5, and CSS3.
8. Styled application (Profiles, Image libraries) using HTML5 and CSS3.
